Heh, pretty much all the mods using it are dead in the water anyway.

Cool stuff anyway, Paranoia is still a powerful renderer, if it didn't exist I'd probably have abandoned HL ages ago!

I didn't think that Barney was the player model btw, I was asking if the mod was thirdperson rather than first, but I guess that answers that Tongue

Yep, but I dont think its the engine's fault, IMHO its the makers' creativity and design. I think they just thought about the cool effects without actually having anything interesting to show, or any storyline behind their mods.

Btw... "The Whisper is a single player third person survival horror experience" - from the ModDB profile  laugh

My StudioShader System have many awesome future last week i start coding bumpmap support for models  wii

The code not finished now its only can upload the normalmap and generating mipmaps on the surface.
The bad thing i use a same multitexture upload technique like my HD texture loader and i need off HD textures before use studio bumpmap.  Angry
But i think i fix this Bug when studio bumps work fine.

Afghanistran, robot from the future! Tongue

I have used blends on the snow, but they don't look too good in those screens because I'm using an outdated blend method.  Apparently I want to use this for better results Valve Developer Community$blendmodulatetexture

The interiors do look rather bare.  I've never been very good at detailing interiors.  Do you think something like wooden support planks on the walls and ceilings would look better?
Something like this http://www.wmconnolley.org.uk/build/DSCN2485-thurs-big.jpg
or this maybe http://www.reclaimed-lumber.com/04768310.jpg

As for other details, most of the reference material I've seen for firebase interiors shows the walls covered in prons.  Seriously O_O

No, because he stated more than once that he didnt want anyone else to use it, and I dont even bother asking, becuase he would say "no" anyway.
So, I decided to be polite and use what is freely available.

Oh, lol. If I were you, I wouldn't use that.

Oh, wait, that makes sense, lol   tongue2

Oh, awesome, congrats on that!

I think a BG like this could work:

I could make that texture for you, or put someone to work on that. Would be a fixed image (800x600), so, menu and images looks the same on all resolutions. Me wants to make that stuff as best as possible  Cheesy
